Kenvil is situated in the Roxbury Township, in the state of New Jersey, and more specifically within Morris County. With a population of about 12,600 people in the local area, Kenvil has the New Jersey Route 46 running straight through it, which means locals have good access to the Christopher Columbus Highway via Ledgewood, and Parsippany Troy Hills, via Denville.
Surrounded by Randolph, the Roxbury Township, Mt Arlington, and Netcong, Kenvil is known as an unincorporated community, which means it’s part of a much larger municipality, but it has its own identity that hasn’t officially been recognized. Kenvil itself is home to Rutgers Tract, the Lamington Tiver, and Mine Hill Beach. The community borders on Dickerson Mine Preserve, and Duck Pond, which means there is plenty of green countryside nearby, should you wish to escape the urban parts of the community. Home to the Hercules Powder Company, and some good places to eat, Kenvil is perhaps one of the nicer communities to live in.
What is the Difference Between Local Moving and Long-Distance Moving?
You will see that every moving company talks about local moving and long-distance moving. Many people see or hear this and assume that it simply means how long your move is. However, local and long-distance moving can really be broken up into in-state moving and out-of-state moving. A move is local until you cross state lines. Once you do, it becomes a long-distance move.
